Western Electrical Group, Inc. employs between 15 and 18 qualified electricians in Summit and Gunnison Counties. Here are a few members of our management team:

Paul Matthews, President/Owner
As a Master Electrician, Paul has over 26 years of electrical contracting experience. He began his career at age 15 with a 4 year apprentice training program for electrical installation at the City & Guilds of London Institute, NASH College of Further Education in Newport, Wales. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, Paul started his own electrical contracting company in Wales and successfully operated PM Electrical for 5 years managing 4 employees undertaking residential, commercial and small industrial projects. Dissolving the company to travel the world, he continued in the electrical field working in Australia and New Zealand. Paul finally settled in Breckenridge, Colorado in 1995 and worked for various local electrical contractors, finally as Commercial Division Manager, until he started Western Electrical Group, Inc. in October of 2006. Paul oversees all aspects of the business.
